Hi all,

I'm not very familiar with Android OS, so please bare with me.

I recently purchased a NOBIS 9, 1.5GHz Cortex A9 Dual-Core processor, 1GB DDR2 of system memory, and 8GB of internal storage running on Android 4.1. So far I have only downloaded and installed exactly 7 apps from Google Play and all my pictures and videos are in my SD card and I suddenly have no storage room. When I go to settings/storage, I see that there are 2 partitions to the tablet's storage both named INTERNAL STORAGE. Apparently all the apps are being installed in one of the partitions, the one with only 661 MB of space. I was able to go into the APPS setting and move 4 off the apps to the SD card, but the rest of the apps do show the MOVE TO SD CARD option but are not allowing me to press it.

Is there any way to somehow move the apps to the other partition or the SD card? Or is there a setting that I can change to allow all new apps to be installed in the SD card?

I see... :'(

No wonder it was so cheap. I got what I paid for. I will look over the Guide and get the best of it as possible.

Thank you B. Diddy!

i got 3 of this Nobis 9" Tablets for my kids they downloaded some games and now there is no more memory left. I already rooted all 3 of them but when i try to swap external to internal sd card with root external2internalsd doesn't change anything i installed a 16 gb sd card and change setting from /dev/block/vold/179:49 to /dev/block/vold/250:37 and no luck
if some one have any idea please let me know

Hello,

It's been quite a bit of time, so I don't know if you still need help, but I also have one of these tablets. I discovered that if you put in the SD card and then click on Settings, Apps, and then click on any app listed, you can move it onto the SD card (once you click on the app it will give you the option to move to SD card). This of course will free up space on your tablet. Hope this helps!

I have an SD card installed and still have some apps that I downloaded that I can't transfer to the Card. However I went in to the apps and uninstalled the up dates and reverted to the factory settings on those apps and dropped my memory down to almost half. Most of what I uninstalled I didn't use or if it was something I used I checked them and they still worked fine. Hope this helps.

Since the first partition has the operating system on it, and all the apps automatically instal there as well, when this partition gets full it crashes and get stuck on the GO screen.

I wonder if you could use Partition Magic on this to resize the primary partition?
Or if someone knows a way to change the default instal location for the apps, like my SD card.

I've researched this awhile and have not found a solution yet, other than moving the apps to SD card after instal.
Annoying. :(
