Hey guys just wondering about how much are you getting with the stock battery?

On my V I have 3G always ON, but droidwalled only for yahoo mail, and gmail when the screen is off, stock clock 600mhz when screen is off, when the screen is on, everyapp have access and overclocked to 768mhz..

The best I can do is 8 hours 20 minutes.

BTW: I?m running ath3nos's Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread)

Just wondering how much time are you getting with what config,etc...

AOSP CM7, 6/01 no battery saving apps installed. 3G always on. gmail is push so no reason to turn it off. ever.

cpu is 480 min, 806 max, on demand preset

with no apps using 3G in the background (not even facebook or anything.) I average 9 hours from 100% to about 3% where i charge it.

i wish it was longer, but I use it constantly during the day. i leave with it in the morning and its gone by the time im back home.

cant wait to get that 3000mAH extended battery

well i can get 20+ when I keep the screen off and only use my phone when i get a text or call.

but the problem is, its a smartphone. and im on it all day for googling something, emailing, navigation, which i use so much its not even funny. its my ipod, its my internet radio.

basically the phone doesnt sleep once i leave the house. its pretty much being used in some way for the full 9 hours or so until it dies

3g on only when I use it so I turn it on to sync in what I need check tapatalk etc then turn it.off reply a text etc. I can get 24 hours to a day and 12 hours

Sent from my Optimus V

attached a pic of a screenshot of my battery stat screen after todays use, which is a completely normal day.

left the house at 630am, got back at 330pm ish.

wifi off after i left, didnt need it the rest of the day.

awake and screen on match up, no strange apps keeping the phone awake when i have the screen off.

signal was spotty. i was traveling all over LA, 40 to 50 mile trips to different places.

u can see my battery percent at the top, took the screenshot then plugged it in.

this is average use for me, as you can see the phone barely slept all day. if I left it in my pocket and didnt use it for directions, navigation, music, internet, email, texting, calling, then yea i guess it would have lasted a bit longer. but i would have gotten lost in LA, missed a bunch of texts and calls, been bored without music.

im seriously considering the 3000mAH battery if I can get extend the useful usable time on battery to at least 1.5 to 2x times of this.

15 hours ish w juice defender and ath3nos cm7

You think ath3nos is easier with the battery ?? or can you share your config for juice defender ?

Thanks everybody...I ?m also considering the 3000mAH, if i could get 12-14 hours out of my V with my actual usage I would be very happy.. The most I can get are 8 hours, and thats not enough for me

What gives you that nice graph for the battery?

It is part of the CM7 ROMs.

I was getting 14-20 solid hours of moderate use (depending on how much music I streamed) with 600/768 on Harmonia, but lately I'm only getting 10-12 hrs. :(

I think my best day was when I worked from home, Wifi calling (Groove IP), Bluetooth headset, and about two hours of phone calls, and I was still at like 68% after 9 or 10 hours.
