S Notes disappeared!?

Yesterday I removed my Samsung account from my device for a few minutes (on someone's suggestion to resolve another issue), but when I added it back - all of my S Notes have disappeared. Does anyone know if there is a way to get them back? Any help really appreciated.

Go to settings, than look for your samsung account than resync your snote back into your tablet. And turn off auto sync in your snote or leave it up to you

Thanks guys, tried all that - seems that I couldn't have backed them up in the first place! Going to make full use of the Dropsync advice on here in future. Clearly my notes have disappeared for good.

:-( Bummer - hard lesson learned. I am pretty good about backing up my PC but it never occurred to me to back up my S Notes until I read about it here. Hope you didn't lose too many...
