I don't see a drawing app for the S Pen on my Note 10.1. S Note has no fully blank white page todraw on. What is a good free app that will work with the s pen to draw and create with?

This is ok, but it does not use the capabilities of the S Pen. It is hard to believe that Samsung has not developed a drawing app that uses the S Pen.

Photoshop Touch doesnt do what you need? It is included. Can't get much more power than that.

For something simpler take a look at Lecture Notes. There is a free version and a paid one.

Edit: just found that you can get a blank page in snote by selecting settings and change background.

Thank you starbuckk - When I first opened PSTouch I did not see that a blank image can be created to draw on. It kept asking me to open an image file. I played with it tonight after reading your reply and found out how to do that. I also did not know about the way to delete the background of an S Note. I am not sure why a blank template was not provided. I tried that too. With this it also works for sketching and drawing. I have read that a new templates cannot be created "easily" so I will just have to open any template and delete what is on it.

Thanks!

Took me awhile to figure those things out too. You'd think something as typical as creating a new blank image would be more directly accessible.

Template workaround: create a Templates folder and save your desired blanks there. Then open and Save As when you want to use that format.

While the Photoshop Touch app in very nice, I'm really excited that ArtRage which is a more natural media art program is finally coming to Android. It's been available on iOS for a while. Here's the official ArtRage forum post by MattRage:

"We've been working hard on the Android version for almost a year now and, while there are couple of things left to finish and a bunch of testing on different systems to do, we're happy to say that we are doing well and are now looking at how we will be bringing the product to market.

More news as it becomes available."

I'm waiting with 'bated breath. :-)

YAY! This is great news.

I still haven't figured out how to create a blank page for drawing in PhotoShop Touch, I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how. :)

Bottom toolbar there are two icons. The + sign creates a new image.

One hack for this I used involves PENUP. PENUP is primarily for image sharing and creates an account on a platform where other users are creating and sharing content; I'm guessing the content is also s-pen generated but it's quite sophisticated.

It does allow for simply creating a blank background and drawing on it with seemingly much of if not all tbe utility of s-pen. Then when the image is complete, I simply took a scrreenshot. I also posted it to a "thread" I have on there. But not paying much attention to that part.
