S Pen Feature Identification

I'm going crazy. Sometime today while reading on S Pen features (either manual or on the web), I read something where when you were using the S Pen, the cursor turned from a hollow blue circle to a solid Blue pulsating circle. I know it worked because I tried it when I read it but I can no longer remember what I was doing. Has ANYONE run into this feature? :-\

If you hover the pen over a picture in the gallery, you will see it turn to a pulsating blue circle. Like that but I know that wasn't the feature I was reading about. It's making me crazy trying to remember.
