I received my Note 2 about two months ago. Up until today, the hover feature on the S Pen has been working fine. When I hover over the screen, it responds as if I am using my finger. But today, the S Pen lost it's hover feature. I ordered a replacement S Pen, but the hover is still not there. When I try to hover with air view on, this shows up (See Picture). A pointer appears when hovering, but it won't click or move the screen. Does anyone know how to get the hover feature back?

tap the spen on a hard surface a few times and it will work again

is this problem already been solved? how? my s pen is not working since i have had it just last week. i wasnt able to check it out when i bought it for an urgent situation came in.
Go to system settings> s pen and make sure the air view setting is enabled. It sometimes turns itself off.

Mine does the same. It simply does not work. I also see no option to enter drawn text for handwriting recognition on my keyboard. My girlfriend has a Note 10.1 as well and these features do come up. Noone knows why. A pity as this otherwise excellent tablet might as well nothavea pen. It only works to draw in S Note.
