S pen probem handwriting using polaris office 5 word document

I am not sure what its called but I cannot get my s pen handwriting to transfer after I write in that grey board that shows up at the bottom of the polaris office 5 word document.

Its not the memo note thing or the blue note pad but a grey rectangular board that shows up when the s pen is in use on a document or even S note and it writes in blue.

Im thinking it might be a problem with note 3
