How practical is the usage of S-pen?. Do we have similar app support like Note 20 Ultra?. I don't want to spent another $70ssh and put in my drawer. Let me know guys.

Same as with any Note device. The only thing it doesn't support is anything to do with the BT capability like air gestures and usage as a remote.

Spend $5 on a third party Note 8 S-Pen instead.

I don't use it much, but it seems very full featured.

It's full featured yes, except for the Bluetooth features and writing on screen while screen is off like you can on a note when you take the spen out of its silo.

Edit: I stand corrected. Just learned something I didn't know. You can write with the screen off by holding the button in on the spen and double tapping on the screen.

It will but the pressure sensitivity won't be the same and you won't have BT functionality. As long as it's an S-Pen, it'll work (very early models also worked with Wacom pens, even the early Surface's...but that's no longer the case since the Note 4 I believe).

After buying a S21 ultra I now realized I am a note guy. Your limited to case selection if you want to have a spen compartment and they mostly look weird because of the extra space. The Note just has a better feel in imo with its boxier frame. I also found the S21ultra on the heavier side. I also use the bt capabilities from the spen once and a while.

S21ultra is a great phone just not for me

Yup, one of the main reasons for me to stick to the Note line has been that it does have its own silo to keep the pen in. But for note taking, I prefer the tablet. However, if the pen isn't an external accessory, then it's great for quick notes on the go or precise media edits on the 'smaller' screen.

Are you going to trade in your ultra when the note comes in or return your ultra and wait for the new note?

There wont be a Note this year. Maybe next year. Some of us are thinking in August the Fold 3 will have built in Spen maybe but it will be $$$$.

Give it another 3 months and all the Note 20 Ultra guys will want a new phone and be trading to the S21 Ultra when the itch comes. No way they hold out for 2 years.

I traded in my Note 20 Ultra for s21 ultra and keep wanting to put my spen in the phone lol. Overall the S21ultra is a bit more easier to carry due to slightly smaller screen but the phone also feels quicker and snappier than the Note 20 Ultra. The 888 Snapdragon for sure is better.

Minus Spen compartment, the S21 Ultra is an upgrade. better screen and the phone is quicker I think. However, not a huge upgrade worth the money for most.

As I said I think Note 20 users by July will be getting the S21 Ultra when the new device itch comes and there is no Note 21.

The spen is a great novelty and comes in handy for quick notes. I don't use the Spen very much BUT when I do it comes in handy big time. You're correct the tablet you get more of your moneys worth with the Spen and better function and easier to use with the bigger thicker pen.

I like the S21 Ultra spen because it's easier and more comfy to hold. But for note taking like in college or something like that you wont be doing it on a Note 20 Ultra. Need a tablet for that.
