S-View screen on time

Just got a used spigen S-View compatible cover. So far so good but the S-view seems to only stay on for five or so seconds, if that. Is there any adjustment? My regular screen on time is set to 30 seconds. So that setting obviously is not it. Found a few other people asking a similar question buried inside other topics but no one seems to have an answer. Thought I'd try with it as a top topic.
