Hi,
Is anyone having this issue. I have a default number to dial within a contact, when I select the name it dials the default number. Now, if I use s voice and state to call that contact, and ask to call the non default number, it calls the default number. So, if the home number is default, and I ask it to call the mobile, it still calls the default, home.

Any suggestions

I don't use S Voice, but I thought you were supposed to be able to tell it something like "call David on mobile" or "call Mom at work" and it would use that category? You can't just tell it "call Sandra on non-default".

Yes, you are correct. However, if I have a contact that has a default number say home, and i tell s voice to call mobile, it will call home. It even states, call mobile, I say yes and it calls the home number.

Ah, bummer.
Thanks for the clarification.
Time to get an iPhone - I'm sure Siri is much smarter than that... :p

Anything new on this? I have the same issue. For instance, if I am using S Voice Drive to send a text, it will send to the contact's landline if that is the default number. Does anyone know how to unset the default? Before I set a default number for a contact, it was at least giving me choices. The Mark as Default option involves clicking a radio button for one of the contact's numbers, so it can't be set to no default that way...

What happens if you delete the contact and add it again, this time without marking a default number?
