S Voice Now Sounding Like a Robot

For whatever reason, S Voice is now very chunky and robotic sounding. Is anyone else having this problem?

If you go into language and input, text to speech output, you can change output sound to either google tts or Samsung tts. Google sounds better to me.

But the other options are if you select Samsung tts and click the gear, go through until you get to general settings. There you can change voice output with many different voices!!

Also in that same menu area, it let's you change language output. It's here that if you have a problem with svoice not talking, just change to a different language then back to English and all is good for a while. I've personally have had a 100% success rate doing that and getting voice to work right.

Mine did too..(robot). Reset it and it went back to the original woman's voice....settings, application manager, clear data force stop, reboot....and it starts the app as if your first time...cheers

i tried the reset as above but i got the same cranky robotic voice -so i manually changed it to UK voice!

It seemed as tho the same happened sometimes when I don't have data while using GPS. Maybe it needs data?

I tried the force stop clear data thing but I still have the horrible voice. On the bright side, the latest update to Google Maps got rid of the crappy voice and left just the nice Google voice intact.

sometimes that happens in google maps navigation. it's freaky, because the voice is normal (human sounding) during navigation and then when it reaches destination, it's as if she turned into a robot and is shutting down LOL

Big time , I switched from a perfectly great S3 to S6 , love the phone but Svoice is disgusting !
