Is it possible to use S-Voice to control PowerAmp using voice commands? I can start it by saying "Play <song>" if PowerAmp is the last music player I used, but so far, if I say "Play", "Pause", and so on, they don't seem to work. In fact, if I just say "Play" by itself, even with PowerAmp paused, S-Voice will start Google Music.

Have you tried making PowerAmp your default music player? Clear the defaults on Google Music and set them for PowerAmp, that might help (I'm not sure, I use Spotify and seldom use S-Voice)

I've done that, but it didn't change anything. Incidentally, the app that's launched by S-Voice "Play" is the stock Samsung "Music Player", not Google Music (I goofed in my original post). That app isn't the default for anything.
