S10+ charging screen dim

Ok, so I changed a setting one night laying in bed, and well, I hate it, but can't figure out how to change it back and Google is not much help.

When phone is charging at night and the screen locks, it goes extremely dim and an image that I chose pops up. I can barely see that the screen is even on. I've looked in the settings, Bixby settings ... everywhere ... HELP !! I just want it back to normal. I can't even screenshot it to show what I'm trying to describe.

Did you see if your Screensaver option is turned on?

BTW, you wouldn't happen to be a fan of The Expanse, would you? Your username is the nickname that the Roci crew uses for Prax, the botanist.

thanks, I posted it in the s10+ forum so well.

Screensaver is turned off, well set to "none".

my username is just from my hobby ... as well as the new avatar. I'm a pretty big plant nerd, lol

Ok, then see if it also happens in Safe Mode: https://www.t-mobile.com/support/de...NG appears on the,release the Volume down key. If it doesn't happen, then some 3rd party app you installed might be responsible.

When I merged your thread, I left it in the S10 forum.

Since you're a plant nerd, I'll bet you'd love that character Prax. He's awesome.

I can say with certainty that I did install an app to do it. I was half asleep and stumbled across it.

Ok, so did you uninstall it, and if so, did that fix the problem?

Oh ok. Still, try Safe Mode anyway. Even if you didn't install an app specifically for this, there's always a chance that some other app had this as a hidden "feature."
