Android Central Question

Music randomly pauses and resumes after a couple of seconds when the screen is turned off. But when u turn on the screen music instantly resumes, so can't see apps in memory. I use Yandex Music, and downloaded tracks so it is not because of slow internet. It is really annoying, happens once or twice a minute.

Same problem for me. I'm connected with my Galaxy Earbuds and it's annoying as hell.

I am experiencing the exact same problem! I have also tried using the Jabra 65t Bluetooth earphones as well as the Samsung buds when listening to the Spotify on my galaxy S10+. The issue occurs on both devices, it must be coming from the phone.

Maybe try to look in battery settings and optimization. The app may be optimized to close immediately in the background. I had this issue with Spotify and turned that setting off and now it's fine.

Settings>Device Care>Battery. Under Optimization, there is a list of recently used apps. Choose the problem app, then one of the options should be to close app immediately, and toggle it off. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you so much, seems like it is playing without pause now :D, not sure 100% yet.

More detailed steps what I have done for new users of Andoird like me :p:
Settings > Device Care > Battery > Battery Usage > [select your app] > Optimize battery usage > [look for your app under all] > Turn it off

Seems like many people facing this issue and can not find a solution, so let us know whether it helped or not

That seems as if it works for me as well! Thanks so much. I love these Samsung phones because of all the settings, but sometimes one setting can work against others! As opposed to the iPhone where there are vitually no custom settings!

I was having this problem too. But only with Spotify. Youtube Music worked fine. Check the battery settings and sure enough Spotify was set to close when not in use. Youtube Music wasn't. Turned that off for Spotify and no more issues.

Thanks!

I still have the problem with my galaxy buds and google play music( samsung music too). The galaxy buds stopped music after 30 minutes and the touchpad not working at that time , I have checked all with the battery setting will all gg music and buds.
I tried uninstalling and reinstall again but no problem solved. i allowd background activity with all related apps. Does anyone know the solution for this problem? It really annoyed me.
