So its been awhile since using the S10 Plus and i realized Auto Brightness is utter rubbish. Always brighter than needed. Thus i often have to manually adjust the slider. Anyone has a workaround for this?

My Note 9 auto brightness works better.

Mine works very well. I haven't noticed any difference between it and my note 9.

Thats just plain wierd. Before i sold my Note 9. I did put them side by side and the S10P is brighter. Already reset usage patterns so often id just turn it off now...

Android auto brightness hasn't been 'auto brightness' for at least two years. All it does is let you train the adjustment based on different lighting and it learns how you like it set. If it's too bright, it's because you need to make it lower, and then in the future the phone will know that's where you want it set in those lighting conditions.

Adaptive brightness now
