Only advantages to ios for me is software updates and physical Apple stores for problems.
I personally use Samsung pay with every possible purchase. I use split screen everyday. I download movies and songs etc with to**ents. Stuff that I can't do with an iphone. I also don't care about imessage or aniemojis etc. I don't care about benchmarks etc. My device works perfectly for me and I love the options Android provides. Good luck!
I'm waiting to see which manufacturer, if any--Samsung, LG--gets a clue from the success of the iPhone 12 mini. I'm sick and tired of phones become larger and larger just because, and of stupid stuff like burying the FPS in places where it just ends up not working.
Personally, I'm loving my husband's LG Velvet. If LG comes out with an LG Velvet 2 or anything like that, I may jump on it. LG and Samsung are always the kinds of manufacturers I keep an eye on.
I love the LG stuff, but man, that's a huge phone. 0.4 inches taller than my S10+. That's huge. And the screen resolution is significantly less dense.
Also, I made the mistake? of getting a Galaxy Watch. (Sammy would disagree that it's a mistake.). Not only does it play better with a Samsung phone, I also like that the phone has reverse wireless charging to top up the watch on demand. For better or for worse, now reverse wireless charging is on my must-have list, at least until I get rid of the Watch.
Also, the Velvet stuck with micro USB charging. Sorry, but I'm moving forward with everything now. If it's new and comes into my home, it must have a USB-C port.
Any LG phone with USB-C and reverse wireless charging, I'll take a very close look at--especially if they do 5G and make it decently smaller than my S10+.
I might look at iPhone 12 mini after all.
Switched to iPhone and gave it a chance.. 4 months and I could not stand it came back to samsung. I have available to me a new iPhone at work. Told them to send it back and get me a Samsung.. needless to say I'm using my own phone now
