S2 screen cracked. I need help

I have a S2 and I need help knowing whether it's the digitizer or the LCD Screen.. I can feel the cracks so I'm guessing it's the top glass. If I remove the top glass will the LCD Screen break as well?

Also.. the lights on the buttons light up when it's on. I don't know if that helps

If your screen still works, despite having cracks, its just the glass layer that's broken. However, if the screen doesn't work, then its the LCD that's broken as well.
