I've dropped my S2 and the LCD inside broke (not a scratch on the outer glass!).
It still turns on, sound and the menu-buttons work, but the screen stays black.
As a replacement screen is somewhat expensive, i was wondering if it is possible to connect it to a TV using a MHL cable.
Is it necessary to confirm anything on the mobile when connecting the cable, or is it just plug and play - big screen when you plug it in?
Without a display, it is difficult to determine if the touch function still works.
I used a pattern screen lock, Android version 2.3.6 should be installed (rooted)
