Yeah on their leather and silicone cases, Samsung does leave the bottom open. Never bothers me that they don't have bottom covering. I'm used to that even on Apple's iPhone cases.

It doesn't bother me but leaves a large area unprotected. I guess it makes it easier to remove.

The corner and raised lips protect the phone and I don't think the bottom area being left open matters that much. Anyway these cases are not going to give super protection, I mostly use for scratch protection and from some minor drops.

My daughter scuffed her iPhone up with one. They are nice cases though.

Just got this wooden back case today and really like it. Nice slim fit, enough grip to be comfortable. Looks nice.

That is a really gorgeous case. I like that it gives a slim fit.

Hello,

I am looking for a clear case with a black or dark surround for my S20. I like the Otterbox Symmetry case because it has a hard back and good protection but the border/surround is clear TPU which is already turning yellow. Most of the other clear cases I have found are either entirely flexible TPU or really thin and don't offer much protection compared to the Symmetry.

Can anyone recommend a clear case, with good protection, that has a black or dark border/surround?

Incipio Elan case for the S20 Ultra. Super thin case that adds hardly any bulk to the phone at all. Has a raised lip around the camera hump which causes it not to lay flat on hard surfaces. Very grippy sides and overall one of the best $15.00 cases you can get for the ultra.

I'm using a Supcase Unicorn Beetle with my Ultra and it is great for protection but its not clear. I don't plan on ever removing it for fear of damaging the screen protector, though.

Got from Amazon, but it's the official Samsung leather case and available pretty much from every retailer.

Have been using on my Pixel 4 XL for couple of weeks and haven't really felt it is slippery. I liked it so much that I ordered one for S20.

They are little expensive though but feels premium and well made.

Just got this Carved case and really like it. It has grippy sides and I like the coloring on the wood/resin back.

The Samsung leather case offers no protection to the camera lens on the ultra. I'm a bit surprised they didn't put a lip on it like their other cases

I just got the otterbox pop case. I like it but I wish there was a better selection of colors. But it protects, which is what I wanted.
