S20 sluggish

My S20 on AT&T has been horrible. I hit the side button to wake the phone, enter my pin and nothing happens. When I finally get into the phone apps don't open. Not sure what to do. I wiped the phone and no luck. Looking to get rid of the phone. Any ideas?

How do I do that? Just seems I can tap on an app and it won't open. I have to close everything and start new. Never had this problem with a Samsung phone.

Press the power button when it shows up on the screen to power off long press it until it says safe mode then tap , to exit out just restart the phone

Thanks...still no luck...may have a bad phone and need to exchange

Did that as well...I am surprised I am having issues for Samsung has been trouble free for me

Return the phone for a replacement.

Did you just get the phone and use smartswitch to set up? If so, sometimes apps don't actually get downloaded and installed even though an app icon is there, in my experience. Any app that doesn't work right away I just delete and download it from the playstore and it works. If that's not the case, then I'm not sure.

Yeah I'd just probably get a replacement. It should still be under warranty.

Also, this is why I don't buy carrier devices anymore.
