So I'm looking at a couple used S20+ phones.
Is there any advantage between (SM-G986U) and (SM-G986U1). I looked them up and the only difference I can see is that the U1 version does not come with blotewear, and Samsung unlocks it from the factory. That should be a good thing, but is there any reason the U version would be better??

The U will have Carrier Aggregation as it more specific to the carrier then unlocked, it can have rcs support from Samsung message from the carrier which unlocked dont but Google message takes care that or Video calling in the dialer app but Google Duo does this as well , i personally get unlocked on my Samsung and have 2 Carrier Att and TMO i use with really no issues, wifi calling there and what i mentioned above.

I see.....I'm with T-mobile. My last two phones were unlocked and I never had any real problems. I've been using google duo and it's worked pretty well so far. Judging from what you described above, there doesn't seem to be a significant advantage to having a SM-G986U phone over SM-G986U1?
Thinking I'll go with the S20+ with SM-G986U1.
Thanks for the input
