s20 smart tv/screen mirror no sound tv switch inputs receiver

so i'm going to download an app mon and for a test was doing this to phone https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOPLOytBrbk

i forgot when receiver connects to tv there is no audio i watch direct tv on hdmi 2

am i really going have to get hdmi adopter in order to get sound i supposed have to connect back of my receiver and other to phone or do you think waste of time and just used audio on my phone isntead since switch tv input no audio?

can somebody please help me on this situation asap

I'm sure you checked that the volume is up?

Assuming the above is the case Do the pull down to see notifications and see if there is a "smart things" notification. It may have a choice of where the sound goes. You can have a connection to a tv and direct sound to the tv, the phone or a external device like headphones.
