Yes, stock messaging app. I haven't been told by anyone that I am sending them out, I only receive them, but not all of the time. I believe it to be a carrier problem, but I can't be sure.

I just texted with a friend, i-phone user, same carrier. He doesn't receive double from me, but does receive double from other users intermittently.

Clear the message app cache and force stop it
