So how do you have the latest update? Unless you are referring to a different update.

Yes there is another but not out yet in the U.S.I'm referring to that last May update that improved fingerprint scanner and camera . Is there another one already? I got that one late since I'm locked tmo, so there's probably another one already that I'm not aware of. My AF is very snappy now though.
The focus issues aren't what they were on my Ultra. I will be trading in my Note 10+ for the Note 20+ though.Least the focus issues will be fixed with note 20 plus...well it should given it will have a lens for focusing.

Don't know which iPhone or if you are planning on trading in your phone, however you get less for trades on the upgrade program. I don't keep a device more than a year so trades work better for me.I’m an iPhone user but plan on doing the Samsung upgrade program and stick with the note line. Feel it’s the best version of android for me

Oh...I was thing of the Samsung upgrade program where you get 50% back up to two years from date of purchase.I’m still planning to get new iPhone 12 pro max as well. I use the annual upgrade program with my carrier so will have iPhone as daily driver and note as my 2nd phone.
Depends how much the note will be on the upgrade program really

It's actually called the buyback program. The only drawback I see is that if you are trading as you enroll in the program you get less for your trade. If you are buying without a trade and keep a device two years it's not bad deal. Wouldn't work for me.50% back? You mean just by trading it in instead of doing the upgrade program?

Purchase from Samsung a new qualifying Galaxy device (“Program Device”), enroll in the Buyback Program, and if you return the Program Device in satisfactory condition within 24 months of purchase, you will receive a credit to your payment method in the amount of 50% of the full retail price of the Program Device typically within 2-3 weeks (the “Buyback Credit”).Show More- Disclaimer Purchase from Samsung a new qualifying Galaxy device (“Program Device”), enroll in the Buyback Program, and you will receive a credit to your payment method in the amount of 50% of the full retail price of the Program Device typically within 2-3 weeks (the “Buyback Credit”).
Interesting how the camera glass reports have died or at least I haven't heard of anything.I started out with the S20 Ultra and switched to the S20+ when the reports of the camera glass just breaking came out cause i was within my exchange period and regretted it a lot do I ordered an Ultra and am back to using that every day and am a lot happier with it. I like the size and the battery life much better and I'm not having a hard time with the cameras. The issues everyone is having are there I just readjust how I'm taking the shot to try and minimize it as much as possible.
I know I thought the same thing. I Google it before i ordered my second one and found almost nothing new on it that made me switch in the first place. Oh well i made out better in the end. Bought the new Ultra unlocked from Samsung and have the May update and from what I'm hearing other Verizon customers with locked versions don't.Interesting how the camera glass reports have died or at least I haven't heard of anything.

Oh I'm definitely not saying that it isn't real or isn't still happening. But usually something like this comes out and the tech sites don't let it go of it. It keeps getting reported over and over again. The major sites have been pretty quiet about it since the first reports. The post on the Samung Community Support site has gone to 33 pages from the 12 pages when first linked here.
Maybe those new metal rings you see in the Note 20 render is suppose to take care of that issue.
