Situation:
Had Google logged in
Device had PIN protection.
SM-G990U2

Errors while using ODIN patched (Odin3 v3.14.1_3B_PatcheD)::
An Error has occurred while updating the device software!
Image Extraction Failed

How I got here:
Metro PCS S21 FE (SM-G990U2) was flashed in 2023 with SM-G990U3/XAA
All was well.
Subsequent Android updates went fine until the recent one - it said invalid sim pointing to SIM 2 which does not exist.
But I am also unable to turn off SIM 2 - both SIMs are always on.

So I wanted to revert back to TMK, SM-G990U2/TMK
I went for HOME_CSC hoping I will have all the settings remain. So it had device pin on and Google a/c logged in.

While doing it, it was unsuccessful - got the error of "An Error has occurred while updating the device software"
Later tried with CSC instead of HOME_CSC, no luck.

Also tried Smart Switch which detected G990U2 - it tried Emergency recovery and did not finish.

Tried FRU to remove google a/c but FRU software did not have my model.

How can I fix this - I am not an expert. Pls help. Spent several days on it.

In the future use the regular Odin latest not the patch to flash the firmware, Patch Odin usually used for flash between the U carrier firmware to U1 unlocked or other way.
