S21 Screen Protector

https://www.cellhelmet.com/pages/liquid-glass

This is my go to. Feels just like the natural screen. Put it in my S20 on day one and my screen is still perfect. It's lived thru a 2 year old child! Nuff said!

I am seriously thinking about getting this. My buddy is using this on his iPhone 12 in which he loves it.

I understand that it won't protect against drops per say like glass , but I am looking for something that will protect against scratches.

Does it work well with the fingerprint sensor?

It works perfectly with the fingerprint sensor. My phone has been dropped several times. Once across a parking lot (thanks to my daughter). Not a scratch! So this screen protector along side my otterbox+pop case and my phone looks like it did on the day I bought it!

I am not sure if it is a big thing in America, but I live in Canada and have used Ghost Armor for my last 5 phones and I am a heavy user with my phone going in my jacket pockets, pants etc with keys and change. That being said I have not had an issue, knock on wood. Picking my s21U on Monday and the Ghost kiosk is 20 feet away from the Samsung store, yeah me. Moving from the s20U and im really looking forward to is the camera upgrade. And yes, the fingerprint sensor works great with the film material

I keep my phone in one pocket only. Same pocket, no matter what pants I wear, and nothing else in that pocket to minimize anything scratching. Go to beach, I use a ziplock bag for it.

Had Whitestone for my S10+, my wife's S9+, and have one on the way for my S21 Ultra, been very happy with them over the years.

Did you get the spigen one? Curious how it worked for you before I pull the trigger

My phone won't be here until the 9th, so I can't tell you yet how it is yet, but I've used a number of Spigen screen protectors over the years, and never had a problem.

I would certainly like to use a tempered glass screen protector for the feel and smoothness, but I don't want to sacrifice having a bad or poor experience with the fingerprint sensor. So, I opted to order this TPU Film protector instead,

EGV 3 Pack Screen Protector Compatible with Samsung Galaxy S21

It's received good reviews and apparently works fine with the FPS. The only thing I'm worried about is the feel of this TPU product since my previous screen protector for my S10 had a very rubbery feel. Since using my new S21 without a protector, I don't want to go back to a rubbery touch surface again. I'll report back how well this protector works after it arrives later today.

Ok, I just installed this TPU screen protector and here are a few comments:

This product has an alignment tool (that fits in the USB port) which results in a perfect placement of the protector. Installation was a breeze (there's a video you can watch too). Virtually all of the screen is covered by the protector, which is a thin film of flexible, slightly rubbery material. I was concerned that the surface would not feel smooth (because of the flexible rubbery material), but in use the surface does feel smooth like glass when you slide your finger across it. I have no issues with visual clarity, and you can hardly tell the protector is installed.

One note, is that this screen protector probably won't protect the screen from cracking during a drop but it will protect from typical surfaces scratches. Time will tell if the surface continues to fee smooth or get roughed up during daily use. This product does come with 3 screen protectors, so I can always install a new one if it starts to feel bad.

Thanks again for the update. I purchased a glass cover which will be delivered today. If that doesn't work, and you confirmed that the fingerprint sensor works, I will try cellhelmet.

Installed my Whitestone today and then put the phone in the Spigen Tough case, just follow the YouTube video from Whitestone step by step and the whole ejig system to install works very well. Registered fingerprint, everything working perfectly and phone looks amazing.
