Heya. I need to buy a phone soon and I'm thinking if there will be any issues if I buy a phone from US that has a Snapdragon and use it a region where Samsung released an Exynos version?

Btw, I'm not really that decided with S21 Ultra yet. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

There will Indeed be several issues which will vary based on where you are.

Why would you import a US phone?

Off the top of my head some apps and features won't work, you won't have a warranty, no dual SIM and you'll Likely have bad signal strength.

If all you do is run benchmarks all day you definitely want a snapdragon in the real world though, the gap is mostly closed.

Hey man. I'll reply here cos you the same person I'm chattin with on the other thread. Lol
Thanks man. So you reco Exynos is better now SD now, if not equal? I need to buy a phone later and I'm confused as eff cos of all the reviews I've watched.

The snapdragon WILL perform slightly better than the Exynos in certain situations. BUT it's by such a small margin that it doesn't really make a difference. It isn't like previous versions where the snapdragon was significantly better.

In my opinion, it isn't worth the headaches that an import brings.

Plus custom charges and VAT on the import of 20% plus fees on top. Sometimes you may be lucky but if customs decides to charge you that can be a hefty price on top of what you are paying for the import.

Buy another 888 device that's available, or soon to be, in the UK?

Oppo X3 Pro , Mi 11 Ultra , Sony 1 iii etc......
