Yes

I really did that :p

Really fancied the 12 Pro Max and all in; it's a super phone...

But; its crap to use as dual SIM IMO. You cannot differentiate between SIMs by separate ring tones and messaging tones etc, which coming from Android is bloody annoying!

Other than that I really liked it; but sold it and made £50 more than I paid for it, so bought another S21 Ultra (black, 256GB) and it's perfect...

Did think about saving a bit more and going for a Note 20 Ultra, but I never use the S Pen, so decided against it...

I've got my S21 Ultra in an Otterbox Defender case, but I've a Supcase Unicorn Beetle and Spigen Neo Hybrid case for it too ;)

Ugh that notch is a dealbreaker for me. When I upgraded my iPhone 7 a couple of months ago I went for the 8 plus. Bezels over bucket notch any day.

I had the pro max and I own the mini which I love but returned the max and got the s21 5G which is a keeper. Coming from the note 20 this is the closest I could get and love the performance which is almost identical to the note but better.

I don't go for larger devices anymore after owning the mini since launch.

I do; I've hands like shovels haha

Small phones and I do not mix!

You know what, sometimes you just gotta try it out and see if it's for you or not! I applaud you trying out Apple! At least you now know that that platform is not for you! Glad you are happy with your S21 Ultra!

I bought the s21 twice as well. When I did an upgrade I chose the option to keep making payments on the 12 mini. I was convinced I would just get rid of the s21.

Returned the first s21 waiting a few weeks then did the early upgrade to send the mini back and keep the s21. Honestly couldn't be happier with a phone.

I bought the s21, thought it was too small. So I sold it and went right for the ultra. But felt it was just too top heavy and bulky, so I sold it and bought the s21 plus. But then I released I really preferred the smaller form factor of the s21 after all. So I sold the s21 plus and bought another s21.

It sounds like the S21 is just too good of a phone to give up! It does seem to be pretty awesome! :)

Both devices are awesome I just find the s21 to be much faster and more customizable. I still have a Mac and an ipad so best of both worlds and I have always leaned towards android phones.

Same here; I've an M1 MacBook Air and I've just bought the 11" M1 iPad Pro

But iPhones, just cannot get on with them; much prefer Android

I use a mac and an iPad too but I prefer my android phone over my iPhone 8+

I did the same thing... went in.. got the 12 pro max.... didn't like it. got the s21 ultra... 128gb... wanted more storage.. so I went and got the 256gb variant. I just like customization. imessage is nice, so are the games... I'd play with the kids just for fun... but not being able to make my phone mine... was a deal breaker. don't get me wrong iOS has gotten better with customization... but it still has a long way to go. and one UI has come such a long way. and improved in so many good ways.

I had the 12 Pro and the notch was annoying on full screen apps and games. It got boring pretty quick. I had it for a few months. iMessage is overrated. You can use FB messenger to send high quality photos and videos. Or another chat app. But most people have FB messenger. Battery life is only slightly better on the iPhone than the S21 Ultra. I'm sure it's much better on the Max. I really thought the Ultra would be too big, but it's the perfect size for me. I could even tolerate a bigger screen. Media consumption is a dream on this phone.

for me it's also evil to me that Apple gets away with their prices. At least samsung is good for the pocket book to be honest. with Apple I feel you're just paying extra for a logo. and don't get me wrong, iPhones are good for stability, but honestly iOS still feels super dated. and they don't give users the options of even having a different font, or texting background... you have no freedom unless you jail break- and even then it voids out your warranty... and the jailbreak can go bad... I work mobile and I've seen a jailbreak gone bad. not saying it doesn't happen with Android, but you just get more freedom I suppose. and you don't feel like a puppet. just my perspective though.

Having the best of both worlds/platforms is a great philosophy!

I kept the 12 mini for my other line have best of both worlds. I almost made the mini my daily driver great size just hate all the swiping.

My iPad is the basic model with LTE. So cheap and cheerful and does what I want it to do. Which is pages and numbers mainly. I also like it for media consumption. I don’t use it enough to spend a fortune on. I am paying £300 a year for 2 years with 2GB data through my carrier for it. My iPhone 8+ cost me £240 refurbished. Again I won’t spend a thousand pounds on it. And no notch.

I would spend more for an android phone. Spent £934 for the 4XL. But regretted it as I didn’t like the phone. My husband loves it so no waste there and we got a £270 chrome book free with it as well.

Tech devalues too quickly to spend so much money on. I am happy to wait a year or buy on a sale. If I can save some money.

Yep I always buy 2 year old flagships for a third of the original price, and always have the flagship experience :p

I like being cheap ;)
