Nice pics but the Desert has Gila Monsters and very little water

Gila monsters are not a problem. It's the rattlesnakes and scorpions you have to worry about. I lived in AZ for 10 years and not once did I run into a gila monster. Ran into plenty of rattlesnakes and scorpions and the occasional mountain lion, bear, or coyote (the four-legged kind). We stayed away from the two legged coyotes.
