Gila monsters are not a problem. It's the rattlesnakes and scorpions you have to worry about. I lived in AZ for 10 years and not once did I run into a gila monster. Ran into plenty of rattlesnakes and scorpions and the occasional mountain lion, bear, or coyote (the four-legged kind). We stayed away from the two legged coyotes.Nice pics but the Desert has Gila Monstersand very little water
What a lovely sunset on the beach.A couple more.
(edit): Reuploaded using web browser. For some reason Tapatalk flipped one of them upside down.
Your killin' me!
My Sis lves in AZ. Her house is in a scorpion migration path. She has those sticky scorpion traps along the walls. I always wear shoes in her house. My father-in-law lives about an hour away from her & no scorpions. When she lived in Flagstaff, a 'neighborly' mountain lion used to relax in her backyard. Not sure why. Must have been a fan of her landscaping....Gila monsters are not a problem. It's the rattlesnakes and scorpions you have to worry about. Meanwhile, in the Sandwich Islands, it is a balmy 83F with a chance of rain...Your killin' me!
I'm bundled up like 'Randy' from 'A Christmas Story' in 13° weather.
