S22+ to replace a S9+

As in the title, how much of a ui upgrade will I experience?
Specs aside, is it really worth it?

Well, you'd get Android 14 on it, and is promised up to Android 16. Plus another year of monthly security patches after that. Then a year of quarterly security patches.

The S9 series is done with all updates. It's even past its last quarterly patch by 2 years if I'm not mistaken. The basic advise is to not trust a device more than 3 months past its last patch. Of course, it's all in how you use it, and where you go with it.

UI-wise, it is an upgrade from Android 10 OneUI 2.1, if that's what you have on yours. While 2.1 was a pretty big update from 2.0, Samsung has made even more changes to it since then.

Thanks for the replies. I'm more interested in how the user experience would be better, or pretty much the same.
I have Android 10, UI 2.5.
It's been such a great phone. The only thing I don't like is the curved screen and the old battery which needs to be topped off during the day.
I notice stuttering while scrolling too, which is annoying.
What features really are improved while using the phone?
I've read all the reviews and corporate hype, but what's the skinny?
