So what about the people who reserved it weeks ago? I never received a text, email, or any notification about my reservation. They opened pre-orders up to the entire world and push aside the reservations. I'm sorry, that is BS and **** poor management.

I didn't get an email about my reservation either. But out of curiosity I tried to reserve again using an email I never gave Samsung and I received an email notification right away.

But even with that I didn't get an email for my extra $50 dollar credit. I had to use an affiliate link from a YouTube video that auto applies the 250 credit.

If that comes to pass, then maybe it will be a jump to another phone, like a OnePlus 10 pro or maybe even jumping to the dark side.

When I log on it gave me the $50 on samsung.com. But that's a moot point because all day the website is unusable.

You didn't reserve a phone. You reserved to receive an extra 50 dollar credit from Samsung once pre-orders went live. They've been doing that for a few years now.

It is worth bearing in mind that for the first time, the Snapdragon models are the majority variant worldwide whilst the Exynos 2200 S22's are the minority devices and only being released in a few countries. Therefore, demand for the Snapdragon 8 gen 1 chips will be high

I don't believe Note 20 Ultra owners are going to pay $1100 plus their Note 20 Ultra for this. I have over 1 TB of storage and their is no S22 with over 1TB of local storage.

If you got your order in I would imagine you are fine, I think what the article is trying to get at is if the phone is as popular as they hope then pre-order shipping dates will be pushed but it should state at the time of check out the anticipated shipping date. This is what has happened in years past when say someone did a pre-order 3 days after pre-orders started, they were shown later shipping dates. I ordered my S22 Ultra over the phone with T-Mobile yesterday (I have a JOD account so I can't do it on the website) and the rep confirmed a ship date of 2-25 with free 2 day delivery but I imagine I won't get it until the 28th simply because the 27th is a Sunday.

Yes there is... The S22 Ultra does have a 1TB edition but you have to buy it unlocked from Samsung(which is sold out now) and Best Buy... Looks like a lot of people are trying to get the 1TB edition...

The current pre-order situation, direct from Samsung in the U.K, for delivery on the 25th February for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra 1TB model.

Other storage capacities for the S22 Ultra are, by-and-large, available as are the S22 5G and S22+ models.

Reports are that there is around a 4-5 week delay on the custom colours.

Some other countries are reporting a similar situation.

Doubt it. Samsung's website still has preorder ship dates, as of this second, for Feb 25 for all colors of the 256GB S22 Ultra - two days after the start of preorders.
