S22 ultra unlocked wifi issues.

Let me start by saying it's brand new. Like I just opened it. Ordered red and it took awhile.

So as I sit here the wifi keeps loosing the internet. Stays connected to wifi, just the internet goes.

I notice it while using of course but also because I I switch and transfer and get things up to speed, my note10+ is right next to me. It no longer has a sim card, but wifi is connected. It gets notifications and when I look and big red, it's got the exclamation point next to wifi.

I am patient and usually I know it takes a few days and cycles to balance it all out.

Anyone else have wifi issues?

Does this happen on any wi-fi network, or only yours? If it's just yours, try rebooting your router first. If that doesn't help, see this guide for other ideas: http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...roubleshooting-wi-fi-connection-problems.html

I have a mesh network. It switches on its own. It was also loosing cell signal. I tried shutting wifi off and the signal was lost. I just updated to March's or whatever update was available. Restarted and seems ok now. I will keep updating if it continues.

So far so good on. Signals, except bluetooth. As I thought, it must have been solved by cycling and updating whatever. I am going to start a new thread on the bt.

I saw another post regarding a similar/same issue.
not sure if this will be the same case for you but the explanation was that it was due to Randomization MAC address that is done from the phone for security measure. Some routers, especially mesh style, can run into issues with this and result in loss of internet while still connected.
That thread's poster turned off the Randomization for MAC address (which I don't know how it's done) said that he/she stopped having issues since then.
But, hopefully you won't have to do the same and update is sufficient
