I have read and seen photos where under artificial light/indoor the HDR is heavily working, which makes the dynamics of light and shadow disappear. In Walter's photos of the trees above I got the same feeling. There is no intelligence in the HDR ...

I don't use my phone for pics. I'll use my camera for that. That's only because I have to. Getting prints from it doesn't give me the results I want. Long for the old days when you took pictures, had them developed and the picture last beyond your lifetime. You can't print your own pictures but they only hey so long before they fade.
