Love the toad! I've always had a soft spot for toads & lizzards. The snake gives me the chills. Is that a king snake by any chance. Great pictures!

Yep you're right! That was a king snake! They are pretty docile. I picked him up and he didn't try to bite or anything. They are good to have around because they keep the mice in check around the hay shed.
