S24U Google Play System Update

My S24 Ultra - out of the box - is still on Google Play System Update from July 1, 2023. My S23 Ultra was on November 1, 2023. Are your S24's on the same July 1, 2023 update or is it just me?

Me too! Is this a Samsung, or a Google issue? My Samsung Tab S9+ is also on the July update! Everything works OK on both, and I don't usually sweat such things but this is a little concerning. It's another setting that I feel needs to be automated/hidden from the end user! why does anyone need to know about this? Why is it not part-and-parcel to ONE monthly all encompassing update? Stupid OEM's!

Interesting, I just checked and no change nor did it say there was an update available. I rebooted last night to clear dalvik cache, although it probably wasn't necessary.

My s22 ultra that I traded in was updated just a couple days earlier to the January patch. S24 still on July.

That could explain why we didn't get updated from November to January, but doesn't really explain why we are still on July. I really don't think July was the last stable Google play system update lol

A more likely explanation is that they are just bad at software.

back in late '22, after the One UI beta, I had the same situation. I side-loaded the Play System update. for an unrelated reason, I did a FDR on my S22U. after all that, the Play System reverted to July 1 of '22. lol at some point, Google got it figured out.

Yes, there is NO APK available for this. I looked yesterday and just now....the link is there but NaDa!

Google Play Store patch stopped cause Pixel phones which is the one having the issue not Samsung phones, read the article, so it's safe to update it, mines updated on it's own which was pushed out so no issues,.
