S25 A Downgrade, Not an Upgrade

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S25, expecting a true flagship experience, especially in the camera department. However, after using it, I was shocked to find that the camera quality is no better—if not worse—than older mid-range devices like the Galaxy A52s and S20 FE.
Images lacks clarity Low-light photos are grainy,
Videos show color shifting and poor stabilization and grainy in low light,
Even with minimal zoom, images lose detail and appear blurry.

The A52s actually performs better clear images detailed shots. How can a mid-range device deliver comparable or better results than a flagship?

And when I mentioned same to Samsung in response they said I "cannot compare a mid-range phone to a premium device." If that is the case, then what exactly justifies the higher price of a flagship device?

Premium Pricing Demands Premium Performance
Consumers pay a premium price to experience upgrades in every aspect—performance, display, battery life, and most importantly, camera quality.
If a premium device cannot even outperform a mid-range model like the Galaxy A52s or S20 FE, then why would customers spend more?

Samsung heavily markets the S series as an upgrade in every way—now suddenly, when flaws are exposed, I am being told I “shouldn’t compare”? This is misleading and deceptive.

Why This Is a Huge Concern

Inconsistent Responses from Samsung & Service Centers – Some service centers admit there’s an issue, while others say "no problem found." Now, Samsung is even questioning why service staff acknowledged the flaws in the first place!

Samsung Is Ignoring Clear Evidence & Hiding the Issue
I have provided multiple photos and videos via Samsung Members and email, and also got jobshit regarding same instead of resolving they are bluntly attempting to delay the process and avoid responsibility

Log File Manipulation to Dismiss Complaints
I have now been told that the log file recorded at the time of the job sheet does not show any issues.

This is misleading and deceptive—log files do not always capture real-world performance problems, especially camera quality issues like grainy images, poor stabilization, and color shifting.

The service center staff themselves acknowledged these issues when I visited, yet now Samsung is trying to walk back that admission. Why is Samsung trying to cover this up?

This is unethical, deceptive, and a violation of consumer rights. I demand a full refund immediately and insist that my case be escalated to the highest level. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to take further action.

If you’re facing similar issues, let’s raise our voices together. Share your experience, demand transparency, and push for real solutions. We deserve better.

Agree, im on the same boat right here..
I changed my S23 ultra for the s25U and the camera issue definitely has me frustrated, I am the typical father who takes ten photos a day of his daughters... and lately I have not taken photos of them because I am not at all happy with the results, I need an update that minimizes the highly processed effect of the images, and does some magic with the zoom... not only do they take away the help that the S-pen gave us but now the camera feels like a phone from 2005

Yup definitely a huge downgrade from the S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra, a few AI and a newer processor chip which can't tell the difference , Of course taking Bluetooth SPen away, big downgrade lol
All over the websites and YouTube, about the S25 Ultra, bad bad reviews bad talks about it.
Samsung really did this to themselves, only the S25 Ultra are just not selling and there's lots that has returned the S25 Ultra, once they realized that it's a huge downgrade.

Well, the "flagship" would be the S25 Ultra, not the plain S25. I'm very happy with my upgrade from an S24 Ultra to an S25 Ultra. Sorry if your experience is different. But that's why you get 2 weeks to try the phone and return it for a refund if you don't like it. That's the only effective way for dissatisfied customers to "raise their voices", if there really are many of them.

I used the s23ULTRA for two years.. and I feel that with this s25ULTRA I now have an s10 in my hand.. Regarding the photos!!!!.. the rest is good, nothing out of this world, the flat screen was one of the strongest reasons since I never liked the curve of the s23ultra, the flat frame is another plus that I have always liked.

If you're buying a phone for the camera, you might want to buy a camera for a camera. I haven't even taken a picture with my phone yet because I'm to busy using it as a phone. I'm not concerned with taking pictures to brag about my kid on Facebook.

Even though I decided to return the S25U, I didn't see it as a downgrade per se. It just wasn't ENOUGH of an upgrade, and I'm totally ticked off about the Spen change. I realize the camera experience is different for some, but my photos were awesome, even in low light...you experienced issues with the S25 though.

I agree if you're frustrated, raise your voice. I raised mine by returning the device. (The loss of) money talks.

I didn't even bother reading the rest when you said a A52 performs better.

I have a S25 Ultra and S23 Ultra. I'm well aware of the shortcoming, ergo not a S25 fanboy and have voiced my criticisms.

Edit: Not to mention this is a repost. You clearly came here trying to start drama rather than be a productive forum member.
