S26 ultra privacy screen

What a load of bollocks.

I've never ONCE came into scenario where this would be practical.
Of course I'm not going to buy it. Duh.
I'm merely criticizing what people seem to be hailing as groundbreaking from an 1100+ phone. It isn't.
It's fine if you have a use for it... But man, upgrading to this device IMO merely for this alone? Seems a bit silly.
I. Me. YOU. Again, is this feature alone the sole reason to upgrade? Maybe not. Is the tech itself groundbreaking? Yes. Will YOU not care while others do? That, again, is up to personal preference, not objective evaluation (since, clearly, the latter isn't playing a role in your assessment of this feature... and that's OK).

You're entitled to your opinion but you're posting this in the s26 forum where many people are excited about their new devices having this feature.

It's not about adult content so others can't see your type password/Pin , financial apps things u like to keep private and they did that with a display is pretty innovative , that's why some buy privacy screen protector but now it's built into the screen. Would that be the sole deciding factor maybe for some.

Other improvement over older Samsung devices in past

10 bit screen
25w wireless charging
60w wired charging

Better chip
Better cooling
Better pictures
Horizontal lock (unbelievable how they did that)
Better video (stable)
So apparently the display is 8-bit, not 10-bit

I may replace my old Xiaomi with an upcoming model from them with the "Read Samsung Privacy Screen" dedicated camera and app.
Only in China, currently. 😊

Yeah boy they got misinformed
Another Samsung stating something not quite true but is true, but isn't. I mean it is 10 bit coming from an 8-bit screen just upscaled. They just didn't explain the small print. Would not be the first time Samsung reps are misinformed. My guess they seen 10 bit did not bother to read it's an actual 8-bit screen the upscales to a 10 bit screen.

Did anybody watch the live event, I did not did Samsung say 10 bit screen there.
