S3 and Note2 getting updates in october (IFA 2013 ep2)

just watched unpacked 2013. impressive stuff! most notably it was mentioned that the s3 and note 2 will receive updates in october to make it compatible with galaxy gear, which requires 4.3 for BT low energy (as far as i can tell)

I sure as hell hope so. My wifes tab 2 7.0 just got 4.2. How th hell does Samsung give a cheaper line an update but not my notes 2 and 10.1only feature I want is move apps to sd WITHOUT rooting

I think it pretty slimy to withhold an update for months just to wait until the next product in the line Is out let's face it, they can sugar coat it any way they want but that is what Samsung did to us note 2 owners. My note 2 will never see the update seeing as how I was always getting the note 3 anyway.
