S3 as dashcam with extended test flex cable

Hi, friends, I'm writing from Spain.

I'm using a Samsung S3 as GPS in my car (see photos below). I use original Samsung MHL adapter and an interface for the display of my car. This "invention" works pretty well (though I had to install a re-radiating GPS antenna to improve satellite signal). The entire system is hidden.

But I want to improve the system using the S3 simultaneously as dashcam. I bought this cable to extend the internal camera outside the phone and place it in an inconspicuous place to record traffic. I can not put URL's yet here, but it's easy to find the place where they sell these cables on Google, it is tvc-mall.com and search this phrase "Extended Testing Tester Flex Cable for Samsung Galaxy S3 I9300 Back Rear Camera"



However, this test ribbon does not work, I get "Camera error". I wrote to the manufacturer and he says that the cable does work in their trials. They have my money back but they do not want to know anything else.

I want to ask if anyone has tested these cables and gotten to work. Or if anyone has any other ideas for my project.
