S3 doenst charge when battery is empty

Dear friends,

I have Samsung S3 I9300 phone. Phone can charge if the battery is normal. But when the battery is empty, phone doesnt charge it.

Does anybody have any idea?

Sounds like the battery is getting old and damaged. They don't like to go completely flat all the time. Is the charging symbol coming on? Does the phone get hot?

1. Charging symbol is not seen on the screen.
2. Phone doesnt get hot.

I tried 2 different empty battery for charging, but it didnt charge. Yesterday I got new battery and it has %60 capacity, it works well and can be charged. I wonder that if this new battery will be empty, can it will charge or not? Probably it will not.

One of my friends says that phones can have built-in battery for charging unit. What do you think?

Can you try the batteries in someone else's phone? That way you will know if it is something on your phone or not.
