From the images it looks like the keyboard cover has a pen holder attached to the side.
Does anyone knows if the folio book cover comes with one?
It would be nice if it does

Any pics that show the pen holder on the keyboard cover? I can't find any.
Edit: Funny after googling S3 covers I couldn't find one of them that had a pen holder. I guess were so used to the Note series and the Tab A with S pen where they all have a spot in the tablet to hold the pen. There has to be someone that comes out with a case that has a slot for the pen.

I guess the gage order has been lifted. There have been a slew of video reviews uploaded today. Several of them show the keyboard cover with The S Pen holder. If you have trouble finding them, let me know and I'll post some links.

Yes please do, I just looked at the official one at Best Buy and didn't see a pen holder.

You can also check the image in the samsung.com website (at least the us one)

I looked at 3 different BB and all 3 displays with the keyboard cover did not have that loop. But that is the keyboard cover, not the folio book cover. Still on the fence with this unit, sold my S2 today for $400 so it makes this a bit easier to swallow. Also the Tab A W/ S pen has been growing on me, batter life is crazy good and seems to have all the same S pen functions as the S3. But really loving the size of the S3, after a while of holding the Tab A I miss the S2.

And no pen holder on the book cover?

Apparently the book cover has two magnetic stripes where one can "stick" the pen. I personally doubt that the hold will be strong enough to be trusted when u carry the tablet in a bag.

I know what u mean I did the same. I went from S2 to Tab A with pen to S3. Going from then click S2 to bulky Tab A is not pleasant but the battery life of the Tab A is amazing. Way better than the both Ss'.

As for the pen, size aside, i don't see any difference between Tab A and S3. I actually start appreciating the fact that u can keep the pen inside the Tab A.

I use the pen only for note taking and I haven't notice any pressure or tilt sensitivity.

Third party apps still don't use the only button on the pen.

Samsung Notes' ink lines still look like 8-bit graphic.

The note taking app that I was using - Inkredible doesn't recognize correctly the pen.

When I had my S2 I had a generic pen that worked OK just to navigate with, not note taking. I bought some sticky pen loop holders that stick to the tablet and they worked OK, not as good as having the pen slide into the tablet but just OK. I think they should have had a slide out pen that is like the Note series and then have the thicker pen as an accessory.

I also have my Note 10.1 2014 up for sale and I think I will hang onto the Tab A S pen till the S3 goes on sale and hope it's $499, I give it another month.

Nope, no pen holder on the book cover.

Also, the display units don't seem to have the pen loop, but the unboxing videos show that the loop is separate and has an adhesive and there's an indentation on the keyboard cover where to put it.

Myself, I might even go to the Microsoft store and see if the Surface Pen loop will fit the S Pen. They sell the loop separately for $5. I'll just stick it onto my Book cover.

Well I broke down and ordered one from Amazon, should be here tomorrow. Played with it again at Best buy and just love the form factor over the tab A.

Yes, you're right, but it's handy for when you're just carrying the tablet about the house and don't want to lay the pen down in case you forget where you've put it.

Also to store the S pen when using the book cover from Samsung is you can slide it in the spine of the cover and it holds a lot more secure that the magnet. If sammy would have just added a slot for the pen on the book cover it would have been forth the $60 for it.

I got the keyboard cover, and it's great but a bit unwieldy if you want to fold the cover around the back and just read or watch from the tablet so I'll probably get a second, slimmer case, any decent third party recommendations appreciated!

Is anyone else finding that the keyboard case doesn't switch off or wake the tablet when opening & closing it?

Beats me too.

I just noticed yesterday the cover showed up on the Canadian samsung website, but can't find it for sale anywhere.

I might be wrong but I think the actual release of the cover in us and canada is April 6. It looks like only the black book cover and keyboard cover was sold by us bestbuy earlier

I was told from Bestbuy.ca that the book cover (black only) will be available mid-May. They don't have any info yet about the keyboard cover.
This is just... I don't get it
