S3 Frontier issues

Watches get battle scars, I have several "real" watches (Not Rolex level) that I spent way more on than the S3 and they all have marks on them. I have found that the black PVD coated watches show the scars the most, but the stainless watches have their fair share of marks as well.

My S2 has it's share of marks on the case and bezel as well, the first ding on every new watch still pisses me off, but I also know that I am going to wear the watch and dings are going to happen.

I hear you, but for $3-350 I expect perfection in a smartwatch. Not real sure the trade off in function is worth the known flaws (like scratching).

Are you guys getting actual scratches or is it just some residue that is looking like a scratch? I had a few spots that looked like a scratch on the bezel of my Gear S3 Frontier, but after wiping it with a damp cloth, whatever it was that looked like a few scratches disappeared.

When I have scratched my Gear S2 Classic in the past, I would rub a black sharpie over the scratch, then rub it in with my finger until the black disappeared. It blended in so well I could no longer see the scratch.

My scratches on the bezel were real and did not wipe away, I know because the AT&T tech tried the to use a damp microfiber cloth to convince me they were not real. 2 days later I had a new S3 Frontier :)

These are not what I would call scratches but complete removal of the bezel finish with no indentation, gouge or scratch underneath the marks. I have really good watches that have hairline scratches from normal wear but none that have the finish coming off like my 1st S3 Frontier did

Please let us know if it happens again so quickly.
