S3 hdmi

When I connect my s3 to tv with the hdmi adapter it works fine. I can play music and such. But my phone loses reception Completely so I can't get on the Internet or Netflix or anything any ideas why? I just wait for an update?

I am rooted ICS. I use the "official" Samsung adapter. Am able to do Netflix, Redbox, HBOGo, Maxgo. Akk require tricks like temp unroot or loading desktop version of browser.

I use the newer MHL adapter that is designed for the GS3 and Note, I do not lose reception when using it.

Sounds like you have a wonky adapter, or phone.

yeah it works and it's for an s3 just no reception maybe ill try a different one
