S3 mini mobile data

For some reason when my mum turns wifi off on her S3 mini or when she's out she can't access the internet using mobile data. Mobile data is ticked & airplane mode is off. Any ideas how to get mobile data to show a H or 3G etc so she can access the Internet? The phone is only 2 days old & it's GT -18200N version.

Don't worry sorted it now. The sim card was set to contract not pay as you go.
