S3 mini's Wifi Hotspot not working with my Macbook Pro 10.8.2

Hey All,

My Mac (mountain lion) gets connected to the Android AP hotspot of my S3 mini but the internet does not work while it works well with my older galaxy Ace and galaxy Y (running on 2.3 gingerbread). What can be the reason?? Please suggest...
