Someone on reddit says that they have access to a leaked flyer detailing the Best Buy black Friday sales and that the Gear S3 is not on there. Don't know what other places will have.

I'm disappointed to find no Frontier on the list. However, who really knows what will truly be on sale, and I guess there's also Cyber Monday.

I don't believe Samsung offers an unlocked Gear S3. You have to buy for your specific carrier. The one for 280 is a wifi version with no cellular activity which will work with any phone that meets the minimum requirements.

I caved and bought an "open box" S3 Frontier today from Best Buy. I had one before and sold it when I upgraded daughters phone. I miss it so got another. Even ordered the same green band for it from Amazon. Open box (non Lte version) $260

I have a bluetooth version from Best Buy and love it. Not sure if anyone was looking at eother or bluetooth / 4G. Ive had both and this Bluetooth is perfect for me really, as Im rarely anywhere wothout the phone now that Ive got my Note 8

JCPenney has both Classic and Frontier bluetooth models for $279 according to the ads that keeping show up in my browser...

Just today bought a brand new Gear S3 Frontier on Amazon for $250. They have it now on Prime starting today for $279, but one of their sellers has a better price.
I emailed the seller to confirm it was new in box, unopened and not refurbished and he confirmed. Good deal!

Yes, they both have that. You can't make/take calls from the classic version without a phone, but with, you can.

How long did the S2 last for you and what broke?
