S3 or S4 mini

Hey folks. I like the Galaxy S4 but I can't go up to it. I'm looking at the S3 or S4 mini. Do you still think the S3 is a good buy? And how do you guys find the Wifi range on the S3? I currently have the Bold 9900 and the Wifi receptor is very sensitive and I do not want a repeat.

What do you mean by "can't go up to it" with the S4? Is it a price issue? If so, then consider the S4 Mini if you can find it at or near the same price as the S3. If not, then yes, the S3 is still a good buy and you can probably find it real cheap online through retailers or in store.

With regards to WiFi, it really depends on many factors. The only way to know for sure is to use the device. My thoughts are that it'll be fine in your situation if you are having no problems with the current Bold 9900.

I don't know what carrier you're with, but right now the Nexus 4 is a smoking deal through the Google Play Store.

Thanks for the replies. I live in the Caribbean. There is no carrier subsidies here btw. I'm looking to buy from personal sellers as in the stores are too expensive. The S4 in the store here is equivalent to $1070 USD!
