S3 screen is black

my tmobile S3 Christmas present from a friend. She bought it on eBay. I think it was new. Dropped it with otter case on and screen started turning purple like ink bleeding. By day 2 it was black. Phone still works because I can hear notification. Wish there was some way to use. Need some notes I took on it. Any ideas on how to get repaired.

Radio shack now does screen repairs for like $59.

If they'll replace an S3 screen for $59 that's the deal of the century, since the part itself normally costs a lot more than that. I suspect $59 is the price for a dumb phone screen.

But a screen replacement, or another phone, are your only options. If RS can't do it, Google is your friend.
