S3 screen problem

Hello everyone
I'm new here

I dont really know if this issue has been discussed but I need to know if there's a problem with my phone..

Every once in a while, like once every two or three days, my screen suddenly becomes really bright and the colors feel saturated.. I was wondering if this is a hardware or software problem..

This usually lasts for about 3 or 4 minutes till I lock my phone or restart it..

I'm really worried about it and I hope it wont lead to a major problem with the screen..

Has anyone ever had this problem? Or something similar to this? Can it be fixed? Will it lead to a bigger problem?

Opinions and suggestions will be extremely appreciated.

Have you tried doing a factory reset?

You may try wiping the cache partition before the Factory Reset, do the following:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key, Home key, and Power key at the same time.
3. When the phone vibrates, let go of the buttons.
4. Press the Volume Down key to move to and highlight wipe cache partition.
5. Press the Power key to select and wipe the cache partition.
6. After the wipe is finished, go back up till reboot system now is highlighted and press the Power key to restart the phone.
