ahh, i missed the spacebar part, but it seems faster to lift your finger as you have to keep your finger on the spacebar for too long.

Looks like there is a brand new Swiftkey VIP Forum ? with lots of new members who have just signed-up today ? but the forum has no thread content as of yet, in fact there's not even a button for starting a new thread as of [10:54 ET - 6 Dec]. Looks like they're still setting the forum up. Maybe it will be up & running later today?

[ EDIT #1 ] Oh. :-[ Never mind. . . They are up & running; the forums don't appear until you register; unless you register ? the site only shows members ? but no thread content.

Better than Swype? Is it baked into swift key 3? Or is it its own keyboard?

It is it's own keyboard. But you can use it like swiftkey 3 as well. Has some bugs like expected but overall it's pretty awesome

Has anyone figured out how to add a Capital letter in the middle of a sentence while swiping (for example a name of a business or someone's name)? With Swype Beta you would just swipe above the keyboard and the first letter of the next word was automatically capitalized. But I can't figure out how to do this with Swiftkey Flow.
Everything else seems really good.

Mine is capitalizing names fine. When I tried to do a business name (Target) it did not. Once I typed "Target" a few times with a capital it now "knows" to capitalize it. Repetition seems to be the name of the game.

Thanks. I'm finding the same thing. After a few times of typing a name or business it knows that it's suppossed to be capitalized.
I was a big fan of Swype Beta (because I am a one finger typer), but this new Swiftkey Flow seems to be better than Swype.
I just installed Swiftkey Flow on my Nexus 10 and it's awesome there too. (Split keyboard with no swipe in landscape, and the swipe keyboard in portrait.)

It seems it does not work when inputting a URL in the address field (minor bug). However, it does work when inputting info on websites like AC, Google search, and Amazon to name a few. Cannot remember if "Swype" had this issue?

Really liking what I'm seeing. Things are improving more by the minute as it learns the words its having some difficulties with.

I have the app downloaded, but it won't download the correct keyboard translation. Keeps saying "Network Error". Any ideas?

Edit - It's working now. Network must have been busy.

Ya, I had the same issue. It eventually started.

Anyone noticing a battery drain with the beta version? I have noticed that it is running pretty high on the battery percentage in settings. Just wondering as I hope this is something that will go away once the final version comes out.

This baby is much smoother than swype. Prediction is kind of better as well. Spacing isn't, as someone who likes the correct use of punctuations. I'm not a fan of the automatic spacing

That happens a lot on beta apps. I didn't notice anything crazy off but my battery was definitely not stellar today so you never know.

I still have to lift a finger in between words. Is there a setting to change this?

Just swipe down to the spacebar, then continue swiping the next word. It'll show up in the predictions line. Lift your finger when you want to end.

Is everyone keeping both versions installed. I'm debating uninstalling 3 since it's learned my style so well
